Our Carer Connections Helpline
MHCN’s Carer Connections Helpline aims to connect carers with relevant community based services that can provide much needed support for them in caring for their loved ones.
The philosophy behind the Carer Connections Helpline is that we strongly believe in the importance of our carers developing good community supports and networks to help them in their caring role. MHCN also believes that by developing these strong community connections, carers can lessen the degree of social exclusion and isolation that is so often experienced.
MHCN’s Carer Connection Helpline is a small team of people who can listen to carer’s needs and provide referrals to many relevant service providers and organisations across NSW who can meet those needs.
Our team will empathetically engage with carers and listen to their story in order to connect the right service with the right carer.
Our Carer Connection Helpline operates Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 4.30pm, excluding public holidays.
