A donation to MHCN will enable us to increase our capacity to deliver valuable services to carers across NSW, including enhancing our ability to facilitate workshops, training programs and directly advocate for carers. Since it’s inception, MHCN has been dependent upon the support of the community through their generous donations and in kind gestures such as volunteering.
Being named a beneficiary in people’s wills is an important part of MHCN fundraising and will provide us with income to increase ways in which we are able to help carers people with lived experience of mental health by providing them with hope, understanding as well as independence.
After providing for your family and friends, you may choose to support MHCN with a gift in your Will. A gift can take the form of:
- The residue of the estate;
- A percentage of the estate;
- A specific amount of money;
- A life insurance or superannuation policy;
- Assets such as shares, property, works of art, jewellery.;
- An investment in perpetuity.
If you are able to help MHCN through a donation in your Will, you may wish to consult your solicitor, trustee company or the Public Trustee regarding the wording.
