In the meantime, you can contact our friends at WayAhead that offer a support line for general mental health enquiries and carers. They are available 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday on 1300 794 991.
Also, our friends at The Carer Gateway run a Helpline for all carers, offer phone counselling for carers, and can help connect you with other supports and services. It runs from Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 6.00pm, on 1800 422 737. Their website also has a lot of helpful information for carers on their website: https://www.carergateway.gov.au/
Alternatively, you can ring Griefline, who offer free phone counselling for anyone caring for someone, experiencing mental distress, experiencing relationship and family issues, and much more. They run from 12.00 midday – 3.00am 7 days a week, on 1300 845 745. Their website is: https://griefline.org.au/
