Are you a young person (18-24) with a lived experience of a parent or caregiver with a mental illness? Or a person with recent lived experience of mental illness and also a parent?
NSW Health are setting up a new reference group to support the roll-out of the Family Focused Recovery Framework (2020-2025) and are looking for a young person to participate on the Group and provide feedback and guidance based on their insights as a young person with a parent with mental illness.
This is a great opportunity for a young person to engage in advocacy and influence mental health services for the better. The person may currently live with a parent who is living with a mental illness or may have a parent who experienced mental illness when they were a child. You should be comfortable to speak about and provide feedback based on your experiences as a young person with a parent with a mental illness.
