Richard Baldwin, Senior Policy Officer

Richard Baldwin has spent over 40 years in a variety of senior roles in the health and aged care sectors. These roles have included clinical and organisational management, teaching, research and consulting. Much of this time was spent in the NSW Health system working in community health services and as an SES officer in the NSW Department of Health. He spent nearly a decade as a Director in the health practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers and more recently was a senior lecturer and Director in health services management at UTS.

Richard is an RN, has an MBA from the UNSW and a PhD in from UTS. Currently he is an honorary associate in the Faculty of Health at the University of Technology Sydney, a part-time research assistant in the Faculty of Business UTS, a consumer advisor to the NSW Cancer Institute, an Official Visitor under the NSW Mental Health Act, a part time policy officer for Mental Health Carers NSW (MHCN) and the Chief Examiner of the Australasian College of Health Service Management.’
