MHCN Podcast Event Launch

Last Wednesday, MHCN hosted a special event to celebrate the launch of our new podcast series, ‘Caring Between Minds – Mental Health Advocacy in Action.’

Co-hosted by MHCN CEO Jonathan Harms and podcast host Patty Kikos, the event featured the premiere of the official trailer, a sneak peek of Episode 1, and a panel discussion with podcast guests.

Panellists Sharon Grocott, Shaun Deans, Alex Li and Nikkie Shoveller shared their experience of creating their episode and spoke about the vital role carers play in shaping a more responsive mental health system, as well as the realities and challenges of caring for someone with a mental health condition.

MHCN would like to extend a special thank you to podcast host Patty Kikos for bringing this project to life, and the podcast guests Sharon, Luke, Nikkie, Tanya, John, Laura, Shaun and Alex, for their courage and vulnerability in sharing their lived experiences.
