Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

This 2 day training will equip adults with the knowledge and skills to support a young person (12 – 25 years old) who is developing or experiencing a mental health problem or a mental health crisis using the Mental Health First Aid action plan.

Participants will have the opportunity to become accredited Mental Health First Aiders on completion of an online quiz. Topics include:

• Depression, anxiety, psychosis, substance use problems, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts, non-suicidal self-injury, panic attacks, traumatic events, severe effects of drug or alcohol use, severe psychotic states, aggressive behaviours.

Cost: $150
