MHCN Annual Report (24 – 25)

MHCN is proud to present our Annual Report, which includes key highlights and achievements of our work with mental health carers, friends and families from the 2024 – 2025 financial year.
 
We had another busy year developing impactful submissions and hosting a range of lived-experience consultations on major policy issues such as psychosocial disability, housing inequality and older people’s mental health. Other key achievements for the year included our collaboration with members of the Carers of Forensic and Correctional Patients Network to co-design a webpage resource for carers navigating the forensic and justice mental health systems, the release of translated carer resources and much more!
 
The report also highlights MHCN’s 50th Anniversary, a milestone celebrating five decades of advocacy, connection, and community. The year was also marked by the profound loss of MHCN’s President, Jenny Learmont AM, whose legacy of lived-experience leadership and reform continues to guide our work.
