The NSW Government is set to deliver 25 Urgent Care Services (UCS) across NSW over the next three years to offer new options for people when their care needs are urgent, and non-life threatening.
They want to hear from people who find it difficult to access healthcare including patients, carers, families, friends, and community members from the following groups:
- Aboriginal communities
- Migrants and refugees
- People with disability
- Women in pregnancy and early motherhood
- People from cultural and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds
- People living with a mental health condition
- Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI+) people
If you have lived experience in the above groups, you are invited to participate in upcoming online and in person focus groups throughout August, September and October. All out of pocket expenses will be covered and you will be compensated for your time ($40 per hour).
