MHCN’s Policy and Advocacy Work and Submissions
We aim to influence government policy and funding and engage in systemic advocacy to ensure the rights of families, carers and kin caring for a person experiencing mental distress and/or a mental illness are upheld.
We do this through a variety of ways:
- Advocating in and providing policy advice on committees and policy groups with government agencies, non-government organisations, and other stakeholders.
- Commenting on policy and legislation.
