Description: Provides information, education, advocacy and support, through the Family and Carer Mental Health Program. can provide individual support services as well as education and training for carers and families of someone living with a MI.

📣 MHCN and the Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) invite carers to an online focus group on Monday 28 October from 4pm – 5:30pm to provide feedback on a proposed suicide-prevention resource. We are particularly interested in gathering insights on carer experiences from those who have supported a loved one who has used services due to a mental health crisis and/or received Aftercare services.

This resource is for service providers delivering the NSW Universal Aftercare Program which involves non-clinical and rapid, assertive follow-up support for individuals who have experienced suicidal thoughts, behaviours, or attempts. As spaces are limited, there will be a selection process if required and selected participants will receive remuneration for their time and engagement.

The online form takes 2 minutes to complete and closes on Friday 18 October at 5pm.
