Description: Most accessed online MH service for young people and their parents in Australia (2million+ per year).Service includes self-help information, peer-support program and referral tools for young people and parents. Online Forum for 14-25 y/o to discuss mental health (e.g.,self-care, caring, sexuality) and other issues (e.g., study, work). Site is a moderated peer support space.

📣 MHCN and the Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) invite carers to an online focus group on Monday 28 October from 4pm – 5:30pm to provide feedback on a proposed suicide-prevention resource. We are particularly interested in gathering insights on carer experiences from those who have supported a loved one who has used services due to a mental health crisis and/or received Aftercare services.

This resource is for service providers delivering the NSW Universal Aftercare Program which involves non-clinical and rapid, assertive follow-up support for individuals who have experienced suicidal thoughts, behaviours, or attempts. As spaces are limited, there will be a selection process if required and selected participants will receive remuneration for their time and engagement.

The online form takes 2 minutes to complete and closes on Friday 18 October at 5pm.
