Who Can Attend: Arabic: Farsi and Dari Carers

Additional Information: Farsi/Dari Carers support. Family and carers for MI, physical disability, vision impairment or blindness, hearing impairment or deafness and a range of conditions.Behnaz currently supports 25-30 carers. In-person meetings have stopped due to COVID however she remains in touch with the carers through phone, text and Pexip (a NSW Health video chat software similar to ZOOM)

World Infant, Child, and Adolescent Mental Health Day (WICAMHD) takes place on April 23rd each year to recognise and advocate for the global promotion of infant, child and adolescent mental health 🌏

This year’s theme highlights the importance of individuals sharing their own experiences with mental health to build bridges of understanding. By speaking in their own words, they foster empathy, dispel stigma, and create connections that enhance support and awareness within communities.

If you are an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person and would like to contribute your experience to the discussion, please complete the EOI form below no later than 5:00pm on Wednesday May 13th.

All applicants will be contacted by May 27th to confirm whether they have been successful in being part of this yarn.
