Are you ready to take your mental health advocacy skills to the next level? Mental Health Carers NSW and Lived Experience Australia are thrilled to present an exclusive Community of Practice designed for intermediate advocates eager to expand their expertise.

This free monthly program, consisting of six 2-hour online sessions, will delve into crucial topics such as identifying your core values, self-care strategies, effective communication, writing, and presentation skills. Beyond monthly training, this Community of Practice provides a rich online learning environment with videos, readings, interactive activities and a certificate of completion for each participant. Plus, you’ll retain access to these valuable resources even after the program concludes!

Training program dates (attendance is mandatory for each session):
Session 1 – Thurs Aug 22nd (5:00pm – 7:00pm)
Session 2 – Thurs Sept 19th (5:00pm – 7:00pm)
Session 3 – Thurs Oct 24th (5:00pm – 7:00pm)
Session 4 – Thurs Nov 21st (5:00pm – 7:00pm)
Session 5 – Thurs Dec 19th (5:00pm – 7:00pm)
Session 6 – Thurs Jan 23rd (5:00pm – 7:00pm)

As this is an intermediate training program, participant applications will be reviewed to determine prior training or advocacy experience. EOI submissions will close on Monday August 19th at 5:00pm.
